Just keep them on a leash when you go to the beach. My granddaughter was
eyeball to eyeball with a dog chasing her on the beach one day. The owner was appalled that I ran at the dog and picked up my granddaughter. I'm sure I ruined the dogs day on the beach, but likewise he ruined my granddaughters day. I like dogs, it's the owners that drive me mad.

He doesn’t want to be anywhere but right next to my wife or kids. He wouldn’t have any interest in your activities
