My dog is particularly weird in that he couldn’t care less about anyone but my wife and kids unless someone he doesn’t
know gets too close to them. And he doesn’t care about other small dogs.
The only thing we have trouble with still is that if another very large dog crosses his path he has some sort of compulsion to show that dog he is bigger. I can usually keep him in line around big dogs with just a look and saying his name warning him to be good but he’ll really tug on the leash when my wife is holding him if he sees another big dog

He doesn’t want to be anywhere but right next to my wife or kids. He wouldn’t have any interest in your activities
