Geographically BYU only fits in the Pac-12. The anti-LDS crowd at those schools will say and do anything to keep BYU out of their club.
The only other option in the Big-12, but everyone knows that is really unlikely. As long as WVU remains in that conference, they will continue to look east for future expansion options.

You cannot. No G5 team has ever played more than 3 P5 teams in a season. And 3 P5 games have only happened a few times
