UCF and Cincy, and yet within the last 5-10 years these schools have had losing records playing G5 teams, not P5 teams. They have had weak SOS. As recently as 2017 and 2016 Cincy went 4-8 both seasons. UCF recently had a winless season. These schools don't always provide a great SOS and their average SOS isn't even close to what our upcoming SOS is an an independent. You can't cherry pick a few good years from some AAC teams to "prove" that joining the AAC would be better. We have beat Cincy in recent years. We have beat UCF. We have beat Navy. You have this disillusioned view of the AAC. You want to dismiss the success of BYU last year as "an odd year" but are willing to ignore the massive failures of teams like UCF and Cincy in recent years. We have had one losing season in the past 15 years at BYU playing a much harder SOS than most of the AAC ever plays.
