SOS as good or better than our avg INDY schedule and have more excitement, meaningful games, CC, and possible NY6 bowls. The number of P5 games isn't an exact science. Playing Cincy ranks higher than playing UA or Virginia, etc...
Cincy played UCLA and Ohio St in 2019, replace one of their easy games with Utah or BSU and you have a top 30 SOS.
2019 SOS BYU 71, 6 AAC teams with higher SOS, Cin 42
2018 SOS BYU 61, 0 AAC higher, but 5 very close
2017 SOS BYU 81, 7 AAC teams with higher S0S, UCF 54
2016 SOS BYU 63, 2 AAC teams with higher S0S, Houston 51
These are facts that can't be argued with opinions. IM(Not H)O. I realize we are stuck in this hell that no teams are knocking down the door to get in. So, people try to put lipstick on a pig to stay excited. I love big bowl games and CC. I loved last year and we didn't play 1 P5 team. The exposure was off the charts.
Cincy and UCF have made great cases for P5 entry. I'm not sure BYU has done anything to increase their standing. I think BYU could win the AAC 33% of the time and increase recruiting. Not to mention the BB would be 10x better.
