If I had contacts in the SunBelt conference I would reach out to them. They would take it and run with it, as they are a football-centric conference. I am not sure BYU would be strategic enough to jump on the opportunity.

Not really. BYU is always going to go to a bowl, and outside the NY6 bowls, one is no better than another these days.
