No one (least of all donnerstag) made this an exercise with the Rawlsian Veil. Donnerstag was arguing that the cupboard was left bare and that this team, right now, has more depth than the 2016 squad. I disagree. 2016 had three starters (two good, one great); BYU's current roster has a bunch of freshmen.
Bodies does not equal depth. 2016 was actually pretty talented and deep, especially when you consider that one of those backs is still playing in the NFL and the other spent two seasons bouncing around the League. We would be lucky to get two such players out of all the guys currently in BYU's RB room.
