which we hoped Kalani would bring to the table and program with his hire. The first one would be depth in the RB and DL. I would say that he has done a remarkable job with getting that shaped up, and quickly.
The next mindset would be recruiting. He's done a decent job on that one. No real complaints there, although still lots of room for improvement, but I understand this area takes time.
The next would be a focus on development and readiness for the NFL. Jury is still out, but you can see the mindset and priority is visibly there.
And finally I would say a greater focus on winning big games and the rivalry. That 2015 rivalry game @ Utah was one of the most intense and entertaining rivalry games I've ever seen. A better OC would have definitely won us that game. But as far as winning the big games on our schedule, Kalani has over achieved since his arrival and I am very pleased with this. If we could just eradicate the Utah mindset of losing the weird USF's and Toledo's of the schedule, we are in good shape.
