Anyways, you know very well that I dont think slavery was moral prior to the 13th amendment. It’s true that in some cases, color of law does not make something moral. This idea is a valuable part of the libertarian canon.
But you guys are talking about all taxation being inherently immoral. Equating it to theft. Actual theft. Not that there’s a proper role for taxation or government, but that all taxation is inherently wrong and government ruins always everything.
These are not reasonable positions from reasonable people dealing in reality. Libertarianism is an important part of our National ideology and identity, but you guys are engaging at a level that is as detached from reality as it is comical.
