I get kidney stones every year or so. I am super grateful for Dilaudid.

Having said that, I have on several occasions been sent home with Percoset, which has helped somewhat. However, last time, when I had to wait 8 days for the laser procedure to break a big one up, I was given Percoset during that waiting period. This time around, I hated how it made me feel; I can't explain very well what it felt like, but I felt off and not right. So I switched off to Advil as long as I could, which worked better than the Percoset (probably, because I take Advil only very sparingly).
