I don’t think they let him go because of results. He was let go because

he couldn’t let the decision made to do the smaller pool go (which I don’t blame him for). The admin basically guaranteed we’d be a marginal swim program at that point. The decision came from higher ups after he rattled a few too many cages. Tough deal.
