There is a much better argument to redirect the money to sports that are

competitive and which have a much larger following. We would be smarter to swap swimming for Lacrosse or Rugby, which cost less money to sustain and we know we can participate at a top level.

We gripe about the ignorance of the administration and/or BOT. Rationally, they are wise to not throw any more money to this program.

Well- women’s swimming provides more than 30 athletes to help offset football... so drop men’s but not women’s swimming.
