BYU swimming has a fairly large following- more than you’d expect. BYU couldn’t expand the building to fit a 50 meter pool and they didn’t have the capability to build a natatorium

Well- women’s swimming provides more than 30 athletes to help offset football... so drop men’s but not women’s swimming.
