This isn't much, but run cat6 everywhere. You can't put in too much of it. From every window and door to even buried boxes in the yard. Run it everyplace toy think you might want anything electronic.

Get a nice commercial grade 24 port PoE switch and you'll have at least 15-20W at all your cat6 runs.

Don't trust wireless particularly wifi. It's convenient in a pinch and for internet browsing, but don't rely on it for home security, cameras, audio, etc.
