I did this to an old home recently. My best advice is to make sure you have an
electronics “hub” to run everything to. I had the electrician run additional power outlets to my electronics closet for all the devices. Make sure you bring coax/fiber into that closet, then run to the rest of the house from there. All my Cat6 originates there and my modem and router are in there. Also, make sure to run Cat6 to tv mounting areas. We stream a ton and use YouTube TV so a hardwire connection to the tvs is a must. I also ran smurf tubing from the closet to the tv mounting areas - this allowed me to easily fish HDMI and any future wiring I might want.
