Yep, exactly! Biology is part of the solution, but not ALL of it.
but it's easier to take medicine than make actual behavioral or, heaven forbid, societal changes, so we've latched on to the easiest course of treatment.
And btw, I'm not anti-medicine for mental health. I AM, however, anti medicine being the only treatment without addressing the other factors you mentioned. I think that's criminal. We should use medicine in addition to other treatments to bring health.
