I’m not sure what is gained by a shorter season. It’s just less baseball.

Maybe I’d think different if I lived in one of those climates. Honestly I’d be in favor of less playoffs, though that’s not a realistic possibility at this point.

This - April and Oct/Nov games in NY are often ridiculously cold. Start in May and end is Sept. I'm a fan of the pitch
