But there really isn’t. The defense is in a major position of advantage with
the shift. It’s not as easy as just “beating” it. It’s possible of course, but very difficult and doesn’t make the game more enjoyable.
I think it’s like taking away pass interference in football and telling WRs to adjust. Possible? Sure. But very difficult and would have a negative effect on the game.
