Impossible to hit oppo consistently in game. It's extremely difficult to do it on purpose even once. It's way easier to swing big and hit a home run than try to hit those kinds of pitches oppo for a single.

This - April and Oct/Nov games in NY are often ridiculously cold. Start in May and end is Sept. I'm a fan of the pitch
