Bronco inherited a lot of talent, whereas Cleveland did not
The offense was going to be great in 2006 with any coach. Bronco had to find some defensive backs, because that group had been decimated by Crowton's approach. Bronco also needed give the program an identity, dump all the bad apples, and start recruiting better character kids. Bronco did a brilliant job through 2009. The program definitely peaked in his first 5 years before the holes in his philosophies caught up to him. Bronco deserves a lot of credit for 2005-09. 2010-15 were meh.
