It was 2005 where Bronco was genius.
You say we were going to win regardless in 2006. I agree on talent. But in 2005 the guys had to learn to win and had 2005 gone differently, I don't know that 2006 ends up to be a memorable year. 2005 was a grind and credit goes to Bronco.
Remember that game at New Mexico where we came in 1-3? Bronco coached us to the close win. New Mexico was decent back then for a MWC team. It was significant because we not only won, but won a close game of the type that Crowton had been losing.
Everything in 2005 was a fight, but Bronco got us bowl eligible, barely. Crowton wouldn't have. It was enormous and set the stage for 2006. Our guys started to believe again.
