Yes things are cyclical, and yes BYU probably wouldn’t have stayed down forever, but Bronco needs to be applauded for not just tying a tourniquet to stop the bleeding. Also saved the whole leg and made it healthy again.
Momentum in sports or business is great when it’s working for you, and devastating when it’s working against you. Bronco deserves immense credit for halting the downward momentum and putting the program back on an upward trajectory.
BYU is a great place but let’s not act like it’s an ideal place to recruit to or an ideal administration to work under. As BYU HC you are outmanned and outgunned against many opponents your fan base thinks you should steam roll.
