I am prone to believe gwalker's story
My great-aunt was a hostess at the Cougareat way back then, and knew all the players. She was only about 4' 11", but a real fireball. She talked about "Kres" and some of the other athletes of that timeframe, and really enjoyed associating with them.

But why not play for 4 or 5 yrs then go spread the good word? That kind of money would have really helped him spread the
