I think it mostly comes down to everybody thinks somebody else should pay

for things. Boomers had the big voting block to kick everything down the road and allowed leaders to make disastrous decisions. Of course, the past 10-15 years our government has been spending like crazy. Inflation was always going to be the outcome of this.
