It was also a huge driver of inflation by putting all that money into

circulation. I guess my main point is that the government causes more problems than they solve.

I think they can be considered directly responsible for outrageous college costs and somewhere between directly and indirectly responsible for health care costs. The problem is we keep electing people who make it worse and build the house of cards higher and higher instead of anyone with the fortitude to actually make changes.
