I mean, if you’re in America, your ancestors at some point chose to leave behind everything that was familiar, their homes, their families, their language, etc., all to be able to own their own piece of land somewhere and have more opportunity. Today is no different.
We do have some big shifts going on. Housing is expensive everywhere, but it’s especially expensive in those Sun Belt and Mountain West areas that are booming population-wise. Younger generations are going to have to decide what’s more important to them, whether it’s owning homes and having families or condos and apartments and cats.
