They had the chance to do that last year and didn’t. Now they have to compete

with a probably better TV deal from the new look Big12, that has less dead weight, better time zones, and more passionate fan bases, not to mention that they would have to swallow some secular and academic pride. They may have missed their chance and doomed themselves in the process.
