Truth is that I think the prevailing wisdom here is more likely to...prevail. I just think we're overly dismissive of
other possibilities that don't turn out as well.
I hadn't seen the post from MHver (though I hesitate to put much stock in anything he says), but that would absolutely be a death blow for the PAC12. Going first and having more certainty is a good thing...unless it's terrible news like that.
Realistically (and I've said this numerous times) I think the Big 12 (and by extension BYU) is in the best spot. But it's not unassailably so and there's a chance it could flip, so it's worthwhile to mindful of that.
