The conversation isn’t whether Alabama should have alternate uniforms
The conversation is whether BYU should.
Why doesn’t Alabama do it? No idea. Maybe because they had the number 1 ranked recruiting class from 2011 - 2019? Maybe because their head coach is 70 years old? Maybe Saban prefers not to do alternate uniforms? At the end of the day, Saban can do whatever he wants because he’s the greatest coach of all time.
He prefers not to do it. But that doesn’t mean it can give other schools an advantage.
Why does Georgia do it? Why does Clemson do it? Why does Ohio State do it?
Again, your argument is “one school that has more history than BYU in the past four years does it like this, so BYU should too.”
