You've made an assertion and then asked everyone to prove otherwise, under the guise that what you are saying is "common sense" and therefore doesn't need proof.

But your base assertion isn't necessarily common sense, or at least not the most sensical approach to this. If the goal is to improve recruiting, the question then is how best to do that given the finite financial resources BYU is willing to spend. You think it's to hire another recruiting coordinator. While that makes some sense, it is not necessarily the best use of the finite financial resources. It could very easily be true that another recruiting coordinator is not going to sway recruits more than a big-time uniform reveal like the one BYU just put out. The burden is on you to prove your assertion, not insist that your version of common sense proves itself, and that others need to disprove it.
