Pack warm for Bryce Canyon. Its deceptively cold due to the high elevation.
I assume you are planning to stay a night near the park. Try and plan to go back into Bryce Canyon after dark around midnight if the forecast is clear to see the stars. Its quite an experience but temps will almost certainly be below freezing at night.

Eat at the Pines too (homemade comfort food) and NOT at Ruby's Inn (horrible #10 can school lunch food).
