I am really glad you are making the trip out here and have so much planned. Utah is a beautiful place, and you could spend a month exploring the parks and barely get a taste of everything Utah had to share. Bryce is beautiful, and not that far from several other state and federal parks. You are not that far from Zions (1 1/2 hr), Canyon lands(2 hr), St George or even the North Rim (3 hrs) or several others. If you cut one through Kanab, you could go down to the North Rim and cut back through Zions on your way back to I-15 and SLC. It all depends on how many days you are planning on staying. If you go up to the north, Park City is a cool town, especially the Olympic sites and old part of town. SLC has Temple Square, This is the Place Monument, and a lot of cool historical places to visit, along with the different canyons. You can also visit Bridal Falls near Provo, hike to the Y, Timpanogos, and other sites around Provo. I am sure others will have even more places to add.
