Analytics just don’t work in football. It’s a lot different than baseball or BB.

Football has way more variables that make analytics almost worthless. About the only useful statistic is that QB sneak is the most effective play on 3rd or 4th and 1. But even that gets tossed out the window if your QB is not strong or fast, the online sucks, or the other team has a very strong D line.

On Drop 8, it actually WOULD have worked IF we had been better in 3rd and long

They had those percentages because Drop 8 gets no pressure on the QB
