Unfortunately, the Arizonas by themselves aren't that appealing to either. P10 would just replace them
and stay at 10.
Big 12 would just be adding two schools with one large market that don't really add much competitively. They know that, so they're more interested in who else would come. Like inviting a girl to your party and asking to bring her cute friends.
Big 12 takes O and UW by themselves obviously and CU and Utah by themselves.
I wouldn't be surprised if the only way the Arizonas are invited is if either or both of the pairs come with them.
The challenge with O and UW especially, they don't see themselves as a fit and probably wouldn't commit long term.

It's not writing on the wall. Utah is in a great spot. Either P12 stays together or Utah jumps to Big 12.
