You may be right about Utah falling. But the reality is this will all go down in the next few months.
As we stand, Utah finished 5th in the 2019 reg season. 11th in 2021, 10th last year and will start next season in the top 12/13.
Then followed up with the highest recruiting class in the Big 12 (or nearly equal to TCU).
The odds of marquee games in SLC continuing are exponentially higher those other candidates.
Why would the Big 12 pass that up right now for 1-9 CU? It's not happening.
