Answer: NO

The AAU affiliation brings more networking and relationships and almost half that group isn’t in a P5 conference. I believe 31 of its 63 members aren’t in a P5 and a third don’t compete at the highest level of NCAA athletics.

To say Cal or Stanford are better at physics than Cal Tech because they are in the PAC is absurd.
