As a Utah fan (but a grad of the Med school and not the undergrad), I’m still immensely proud of the growth of the University. Utah wasn’t an AAU school when they joined either.

Quite frankly, I’m not thrilled with the direction of the PAC. But I’m also not enamored with the Big12 and I don’t think the Big12 does anything for Utah other than offer a landing spot if things get bad enough. So that’s how I look at it.

And if things go really really bad and Utah is patched together with whatever is left out west, so be it. I’ll stick up for my team and argue points here and there and I’ll always be a Utah man.

And FWIW, I’ve consistently said all along that BYU has deserved better and you guys are in a good situation for the future. No hate here.
