it’s not an indictment on therapy as a whole. One fairly obvious principle she teaches is that anything that has sufficient force to heal, also has the power to corrupt. To me, that is obviously true.

Therapy, particularly “trauma” like EMDR and talk therapy for teens is uniquely problematic.(I own a business in this space).

There have never been more mental health resources and therapists and the problems are only getting worse. That, at the very least, merits a close investigation
