You forget that Jamaal may not have even played much as a freshman if Alisa
had not gotten hurt. I'm not saying that was the right decision, but from the first few games, it looked like that was going to be the case. Jamaal has certainly benefitted from being the only legitimate option, much like Diluigi did. There were other legitimate options with Harvey and yet he still got the bulk of the carries.
