Looking at some of the top running teams over the last few years like West Virginia, Arizona, Oregon, Auburn, Baylor, Missouri, Nevada, etc., we are running those type of offenses right now, which is conducive to racking up a lot of rush yards. Number 10 in the nation this year.
And we have the guys too actually pull this kind of running offense off. So it wouldn't surprise me at all if Jamaal does go over 1400 yards this year. He has the talent and we have a good running scheme and run a lot of plays.
And listening to Jason Beck on the radio, even though a lot of people want Taysom to run less, he said Taysom is still going to just read the defense and keep the ball and run it when appropriate. So it sounds like he will still be running a lot. Best quarterback, running-back running duo we've ever had.
none of this has very much to do with this thread but I got to typing and just kept going.
