Multiple reports from those who had connections with the B12 admin and B12
institutions mentioned that BYU and its lawyers were "pieces of work," that they loved their independence, etc.

Here's what TH said in his interview at the Oregon State game:

Then when McCann asked TH, "BYUtv, where does that sit in and was that a stumbling block?" TH's response was, "that's an interesting thing. I'm not sure what it is from their standpoint, but I know BYUtv is a very positive thing. . . . So, I think there has been a lot of misinformation out there about BYUtv, but that's for people to speculate on."

That's an interesting thing? What does that even mean? Yes, there was a lot of misinformation about BYUtv. The B12 didn't like it. The B12 had just experienced problems with the Longhorn Network. BYU didn't need to keep its stance firm on this issue because it wasn't that important.

Then, in this year's Media Day that just happened, TH, in the opening segment, basically said that back then [talking about the B12 negotiations since they brought up Bronco's comments to the Austin Statesman] they [BYU] didn't know that things would be so different now [referring to the CFB landscape].

Hello! Did you think discussions with just any P5 conference would just come and go as you pleased? Wasn't the point of going Indy to get out of the MWC and make things easier to join a better conference? Did you think the B12 would just let you in comfortably, on your time, when everything would be as stable as a conference like the SEC?
