Yes, there are media stories claiming that the hangup was no-Sunday play (which
I believe was an issue) and television negotiations.
On the other hand, TH, who you like to quote, says they never got that far before TCU was picked.
Yet you appear to claim "TV was discussed." as if that is some sort of established fact. You may choose to believe it. And I know many, probably a large majority, do believe it. But its not the established fact you claim. And , of course, nothing but a myth that TH has repeatedly claimed is simply false.
But at least you now know the "piece of work" quote came during the Big East negotiations, not the Big Xll. Thats enough for tonight.
