That is unfortunately not true
Under BYU's current deal with ESPN, BYU is allowed to immediately rebroadcast every game shown on any ESPN Network as soon as that game has ended.
As part of the Fox deal with the Big 12, there is a 72 hour waiting period for games on Fox Networks before any game can be rebroadcast.
