I've heard from several sources that that's why the negotiations with the Big 12 fell through. They wouldn't give BYU the rebroadcast rights of the games on BYUtv or something like that. I think it's cool that BYU has their own tv station and I can see that it's a great missionary tool; I guess I just don't understand why a tv station is so freaking important that it's worth forgoing membership in a P5 conference in order to keep it.
