What's funny is that when Blackmon does start dominating, many...
...on CB will take that as a sign that the coaches blew it earlier in the season when he wasn't getting as much playing time. They won't consider the role the coaches played in getting him ready to play.

Bottom line is that Bronco and crew have shown time and time again that they are willing to play the new/young guy over the more experienced player if it means a greater chance to win. Since Blackmon is being brought around a bit slowly, I'm going to assume that there is good reason for it. I also expect Blackmon to make a big impact before long.

I think some on CB (and certainly many fans everywhere) are not aware of all of the intricacies and nuances that go into playing effective football. Some think that our offense is "just the same five plays over and over again", but they have no idea the many variations and sight-reads and adjustments that happen in real-time on each play. It can't be easy to get all of that down in a single fall camp, like Blackmon is doing. Dye, same thing. Give these guys just a bit more time, and we'll start to see more contributions from them. The coaches are not doing anything to sabotage these guys.
