So you are advocating playing the higher rated players no matter what
they prove in practice? Sorry, but I give the coaches the benefit of the doubt in these situations.
And yes, I know the difference between the parent-child relationship and the coach-player relationship. But the concept of treating each child or each player differently based upon factors known to the parent or to the coach but not known to the neighbors or the fans is still a valid analysis. And of course, you can disagree.
