I would have loved to go to BYU. However, my wife had a good job in downtown SLC so it made more sense to live in the Salt Lake Valley and go to the U. I am and always have been a rabid BYU fan. I will never forget the day my oldest son (about 6 years old) realized that both his parents graduated from the U of U. He was completely dumbfounded. He looked like he was going to cry. To this day he will often remark to me that he still can't believe I went to the U.
