I attended BYU, but when thinking about other schools I knew I would always be a
fan of BYU even if I hadn't gone there - for the reasons many have already stated. As much as some can't admit, BYU DOES represent the Church. For that reason I will always be a fan.
Also, there was not a day that went by when I wasn't grateful to be at BYU because I knew that for every one of me, there were hundreds, if not thousands, who would have been grateful to take my place.
