BYU reject/UVU grad. Didn't take high school seriously and just enrolled at
UVU by default after the mission (open enrollment and the semester started a week or so after I got home). After getting my associates I applied to BYU, had a 3.6 from UVU but didn't get in. They advised me to take a couple evening classes at BYU and try to up my GPA. I did, brought it up to a 3.7 but was still rejected.
My parents are Y grads, as are many siblings and other family members. I grew up rooting for BYU and will continue to do so until I die.
