I got both my bachelors and masters from the University of Utah. I studied Urban Planning and at the time BYU did not have a program so I transferred from UVSC (UVU) to Utah.

My father also graduated from the University of Utah. When I was young he took to me BYU games and told me he supports BYU because BYU represents our faith. The better they do the more people will wonder what BYU stands for and who is Brigham Young and it may plant a seed. I have been a die hard cougar fan ever since.

When attending Utah I though I may be able to also like Utah games, but after having multiple professors talk negatavily about my church and its leaders and hearing the anti-mormon slander that comes from Utah fans I became even more dedicated to BYU.
